PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION: Program Behavior Analysts are responsible for conducting behavioral assessments to develop treatment programs. This essential role also involves training and supervising behavior technicians who implement these treatment plans. Additionally, as part of behavior analyst jobs, the analyst will work closely with families and build rapport with caregivers. Feedback and additional supervision will be provided by the Clinical Director and COO. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: A Master’s Degree with BCBA Certification and state licensure is required. Candidates should have at least one (1) year of experience completing comprehensive functional assessments and behavior support plans, along with two (2) years of experience serving individuals with lifelong disabilities in some capacity. Applicants must be able to pass a background check, Recipient Rights background check, and TB test. Additional training will be required after employment, including company in-services and funding source trainings. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, assume and maintain various postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, and standing) for extended periods, and work in various environments to perform therapy—such as homes, schools, centers, and community settings. Willingness to drive within a 30-60-mile radius for client treatment in home, community, and school settings is essential. A valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance are required. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION:
In this fast-paced and often intense learning environment, you'll have the opportunity to work in behavior analyst jobs by providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
Your responsibilities will include interviewing clients, conducting follow-ups, and collecting essential data. You will interact directly with clients through various activities, teaching life skills and assisting with personal care as needed.
Part of your role will involve meeting with clients’ family members, participating in sessions and meetings, and answering questions from clients and their families. Additionally, you will help clients with everyday activities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• HS Diploma
• Must be able to pass a background check, Recipient Rights background check, and TB test
• Immediate completion of online training RBT modules, CPR, and Fingerprinting
• Must complete additional training after employment, including but not limited to company in-services and required funding source trainings
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, and standing) for extended periods of time
• Must be willing to sit on the floor for extended periods
• Must be able to restrain and/or transport clients while utilizing quick body movements as trained when directed by the supervisor, as a last resort
• Must be willing to work in various environments to perform therapy, including home, schools, centers, and community settings.
• Must be willing to drive within a 30-mile radius as needed for the treatment of clients in home, community, and school settings.
• Valid Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance required, along with reliable transportation
• Must have access to email and phone contact and respond in a timely manner, no less than 48 hours.
